David Schwartzman

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Schwartzman has over 23 years of real estate experience, beginning his development career in 1990 as a residential home builder. To date, he has successfully developed over 3,000 homes, including condominiums, PUDs, and single-family developments, as well as mixed-use developments in Central and California.

In 1999, Mr. Schwartzman expanded his organization to focus on the development of urban, in-fill locations primarily in Hollywood, the Westside of Los Angeles, Pasadena, and the west San Fernando Valley. Through his development entity, DS Ventures, LLC, he successfully completed multiple joint venture projects throughout Central California.

In addition to his business enterprises, Mr. Schwartzman is a generous supporter of such organizations as The University of Judaism, Therapeutic Living Centers for the Blind, the American Cancer Society, the Los Angeles Zoo, and Habitat for Humanity. In 2004, he was honored by the Hollywood/Los Angeles Beautification Team and received their Business Leader Recognition Award. Mr. Schwartzman is a graduate of the University of California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.

Brad Woomer

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Woomer has over 19 years of experience in real estate finance. In addition to handling the procurement of debt and equity for HDG, Mr. Woomer handles the closing of all transactions and is responsible for the accounting and financial management. Mr. Woomer was previously a Senior Associate with the real estate investment banking firm Sonnenblick-Goldman Company. Mr. Woomer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of California and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Yuri Gurevich

Acquisitions/Project Management

Mr. Gurevich has over 15 years of real estate experience. Prior to joining the HDG team in 2013, Mr. Gurevich was a commercial real estate appraiser with Cushman and Wakefield in the Downtown Los Angeles office for 8 years. Mr. Gurevich is a certified general appraiser who specializes in the valuation of multifamily properties, land, and condominium developments. He has also provided valuation and consulting services across a broad range of property types, including multifamily, condominium projects, retail, office, vacant land, industrial, and special purpose properties. In addition, he has provided the highest and best-use studies and market analysis pertaining to land investment and development. Mr. Gurevich holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from California State University Northridge.

Bill Myers

Senior Advisor

Mr. Myers serves as a senior advisor to HDG Harridge Development Group, providing strategic and deal-level advice in all aspects of the Company’s investments, assisting in the diligence, acquisition, entitlement, build-out, and disposition of in-fill and suburban mixed-use and residential development projects. Prior to working with Harridge, Myers was a Senior Vice President with Cerberus Companies in 2008 as a Senior Vice President with extensive experience in the acquisition, financing, development, and management of master-planned communities throughout the western U.S. and expertise in the workout of troubled real estate and mortgage-backed securities portfolios. At Cerberus, Mr. Myers has assisted GMAC and other portfolio companies and Joint Venture Partners in the identification, management, and disposition of troubled assets as well as seeking distressed residential land opportunities for the firm. Prior to joining the Cerberus Companies, Mr. Myers was Regional President for SunCal Companies, overseeing the Northern California, Nevada, and New Mexico divisions. Prior to joining SunCal, Mr. Myers practiced real estate law for 18 years. Mr. Myers obtained an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Santa Clara and a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law.

Mitch Canada

Construction/Project Management

Mr. Canada has over 25 years of real estate construction experience and has been responsible for the development of over 3,000 residential units in California. Prior to joining the HDG team in 2003, Mr. Canada was a consultant with Simon & Sons Realty Group and was responsible for the disposition of underperforming Real Estate portfolios in California. Additionally, Mr. Canada has been a contributing member of IBICOS (a joint venture between The Department of Energy and The Building Industry) for the last seven years and has been instrumental in evaluating new building technologies presented by such diverse entities as MIT and G.E. Plastics. Mr. Canada holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah.

Jim Stringer

Acquisitions/Dispositions

Mr. Stringer has over 20 years of real estate and home-building experience. Prior to joining the HDG team in 2019, Mr. Stringer was Vice President of Land Acquisition for the California Division of Meritage Homes. Prior to that, Mr. Stringer led the Acquisition and Disposition Department at Pardee Homes, where he acquired over 10,000 lots, managed the disposition of more than 5,000 lots to public home builders and developers, and disposed of various assets, including retail shopping centers, office properties, multi-family communities, and distressed assets. Mr. Stringer holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Real Estate, and Law from California State University at Long Beach, a Professional Certificate in Light Construction and Development Management from the University of California Irvine, and a J.D. from Chapman University School of Law. Mr. Stringer is a licensed attorney in the state of California.

Josie Manlutac

Controller

Ms. Manlutac has been with the HDG team since 1997, serving as its Controller. Previously, Ms. Manlutac worked at the International Bank of California as a staff accountant, creating financial statements for the Board of Directors and preparing quarterly FDIC Call Reports. Ms. Manlutac holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines.

Josh Sharf

Financial Analyst

Mr. Sharf has 10+ years of experience in the acquisition, development, and financing of real estate transactions. Mr. Sharf spent 5 years with Dekel Capital, a real estate merchant banking group focused on both capital advisory and direct JV equity investment in ground-up multifamily deals, predominately in Utah, Texas, and Oregon. Prior to Dekel Capital, Mr. Sharf spent 2 years at Colony Capital underwriting deals for their debt fund. Before Colony Capital, Mr. Sharf spent three years evaluating and investing in Oil & Gas related real estate transactions in North Dakota and Colorado. Mr. Sharf graduated from the University of California with a degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Real Estate Finance.

Paco Villavicencio

Engineering

Mr. Villavicencio joined HDG Harridge Development Group in 2020. He has over 8 years of civil engineering design experience, which includes over 5 years of experience in site development with Psomas. He attended the University of California, Irvine, and graduated with a Civil Engineering degree in 2010. At Psomas, he was the lead designer for over 20 projects in the City of Los Angeles, Covina, and West Hollywood. These projects ranged from large multi-building campuses to small lot subdivisions, and high-density infill projects. While at Psomas, his responsibilities comprised site planning, grading and drainage, utility design, SWPPP development, public street improvement design, water quality design, hydraulic analysis, and city processing. Paco is also an LAPD reserve officer, serving in the central division since 2012.

Bram Janaitis

Architecture/Design Consultant

Mr. Janaitis has over 18 years of international experience in architecture, pre-development, development programming, design, and construction. Mr. Janaitis spent 17 years with various architecture firms, including Ching Partners in San Francisco, Robert A.M. Stern Architects in New York, and Shublin + Donaldson Architects in Los Angeles. In his 17-year tenure as an architect, he worked on various projects, including residential, mixed-use, office buildings, airports, entertainment complexes, and various public works projects. In 2015, he joined CIM Group on the development team, where he was responsible for developing commercial and residential projects throughout all stages of development. Mr. Janaitis graduated from Drexel University with a degree in Architecture and is a licensed architect.
